Amelia Frias joined Maldonado & Vallejo Immigration Law in August 2025. Raised in Miami, Florida, Ms. Frias is of Cuban heritage, as all four of her grandparents immigrated to the United States from Cuba in the 1960s and settled in South Florida. Growing up surrounded by her family’s immigration background fostered a strong sense of purpose in helping others who share similar experiences. Ms. Frias is passionate about giving back to her community and finds fulfillment in assisting individuals and families as they navigate the immigration system. She values the firm’s welcoming environment, where she feels encouraged to contribute meaningfully to each client’s journey.

Ms. Frias is passionate about learning new skills and is always eager to expand her knowledge, motivated by her desire to help others and make the most of her abilities. In her free time, she enjoys reading fiction and poetry, writing, exercising, cooking, baking, traveling, and most importantly, spending time with her two sisters, who are her best friends.
